At a glance
- Enter your line in My numbers and choose the full history: Fetix plays it at every draw since February 2004 and adds up what it would have won.
- You see how many draws paid out, the total, and every winning draw with its real prize.
- Across three real lines the pattern is the same: about one euro back for every five staked, and no single prize above €54.

- Open My numbers for EuroMillions.
- Enter your 5 main numbers and your 2 Lucky Stars.

The summary shows the number of winning draws, total winnings, the cost of playing over the period and the net result, followed by each winning draw with its tier and prize.
Three lines, 22 years of draws
| Line | Winning draws | Total won | Cost* | Best prize |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Birthdays: 3 – 7 – 12 – 19 – 25 ★ 2 – 9 | 150 | €995.70 | €4,625.50 | 3 numbers + 2 stars: €53.80 (18 Aug 2015) |
| In a row: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 ★ 1 – 2 | 126 | €770.10 | €4,625.50 | 2 numbers + 2 stars: €19.50 (25 Jun 2013) |
| Spread out: 8 – 17 – 23 – 34 – 42 ★ 3 – 11 | 157 | €1,021.50 | €4,625.50 | 2 numbers + 2 stars: €25.10 (28 May 2013) |
1,983 draws, 13 February 2004 to 25 September 2026. Prizes and costs in euros, the currency the draw is run in; cost at the French ticket price (€2, then €2.50 from February 2014). Fetix data.
What stands out:
- Winning something happens about once every 13 to 16 draws. Between 126 and 157 winning draws out of 1,983.
- It is almost always a small prize. None of the three lines ever won more than €54 in one draw.
- The return is around 17 to 22%. For €4,625.50 played, between €770 and €1,021 came back.
Why winnings are so far below the cost
That is how a lottery works: part of every stake funds the prizes, the rest goes to good causes, tax, retailers and running the game. Over time, a line played every draw returns a fraction of what it costs. The dream is the jackpot — and it did not land on any of these lines in 22 years.
What the calculation takes into account
- Real prizes for each draw, not averages: the same tier pays a different amount from one draw to the next.
- Rule changes: 9 Lucky Stars at launch, 11 from 2011, 12 from 2016. Star 11 in the "spread out" line did not exist before 2011.
- Price changes over the period.

FAQ
Does the calculation assume I played every draw?
Yes. It answers "what if I had played this line at every draw of the period". Pick a shorter period (1 year, 3 years…) to match how you actually play.
Why are the amounts in euros?
EuroMillions is organised in euros, and Fetix stores its prizes in euros. UK prizes are paid in pounds at the rate set for each draw, so a UK player's figures would differ slightly.
Why are my winnings so small compared with the cost?
Because nearly all winning draws are low tiers (2 numbers, or 1 number + 2 stars). Across our three lines, no prize went above €54.
Will a line that did well in the past keep doing well?
No. Every draw is independent: a line's past record says nothing about the next draw.
How up to date is this?
Results are synced automatically after every draw (Tuesday and Friday). Figures as of 25 September 2026.

EuroMillions is a game of chance. Fetix does not sell tickets and does not promise any winnings. The totals describe the past and predict nothing.
