EuroMillions draws two Lucky Stars from a separate pool. The pool size has changed: 1–9 (2004–2011), 1–11 (2011–2020), 1–12 (2020–present). All-time frequency stats mix these eras—compare within the same format for consistency.
Important
Past Lucky Star frequency has no effect on future draws. Each draw is random.

When Lucky Stars matter
Lucky Stars determine several prize tiers. Match 5 + 2 Stars = jackpot. Match 5 + 1 Star = second tier. Match 5 + 0 Stars = third tier. Lower tiers also depend on star matches.
