With 59 numbers (30 odd, 29 even), draws of 6 numbers can have 0–6 odd numbers. The most likely outcome is 3 odd / 3 even (or 2/4 or 4/2). All-odd (6/0) and all-even (0/6) are rarer.

UK Lotto changed from 6/49 to 6/59 in October 2015. Before 2015: 25 odd, 24 even. After 2015: 30 odd, 29 even. The theoretical balance shifts slightly; observed distributions adapt over time.
Does odd/even "strategy" work?
