At a glance
- To see whether your 6 numbers have ever come up, enter them in My numbers: Fetix checks every draw since November 1994.
- In 3,240 UK Lotto draws, the same 6 main numbers have never been drawn twice.
- But it came close: 55 pairs of draws share 5 of their 6 numbers β sometimes twenty years apart.
Check your combination in 30 seconds
- Open My numbers for UK Lotto.
- Enter your 6 numbers (no need for the Bonus ball).
- Choose full history and run the search.
If your exact line had ever been drawn, that night would appear at the top of your results as a jackpot. If not, you still see every night it matched 2 to 5 numbers, with the prize each time.
Never twice β but close, 55 times
No two UK Lotto draws have ever produced the same six main numbers. Yet 55 pairs of draws share five of them. The most striking:
| First draw | Second draw | Shared numbers | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15 December 2004: 7 β 11 β 19 β 25 β 31 β 39 | 29 June 2024: 7 β 11 β 19 β 25 β 29 β 31 | 7, 11, 19, 25, 31 | 19Β½ years |
| 2 August 2003: 5 β 26 β 28 β 45 β 47 β 49 | 8 August 2026: 5 β 10 β 26 β 28 β 45 β 47 | 5, 26, 28, 45, 47 | 23 years |
| 12 April 1997: 9 β 27 β 29 β 37 β 42 β 44 | 15 July 2020: 9 β 27 β 29 β 37 β 44 β 53 | 9, 27, 29, 37, 44 | 23 years |
The 2020 case has a twist: ball 53 did not even exist in 1997. The game went from 49 to 59 balls in October 2015.
If you had kept playing the 15 December 2004 numbers, on 29 June 2024 you would have matched five β one ball short of the jackpot.
Why it has never happened (yet)
| Game period | Possible lines | Draws | Repeat expected? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1994 β Oct 2015 (6 from 49) | 13,983,816 | 2,065 | about 0.15 |
| Since Oct 2015 (6 from 59) | 45,057,474 | 1,175 | about 0.02 |
With the number of draws so far, a repeat of all six numbers was expected well under once. Near misses are another story: there are far more ways for two draws to share five numbers, which is why they have happened dozens of times.
Drawn before or not, the same chance next time
The balls have no memory. A line that has already come up β or almost β has exactly the same chance as any other at the next draw: 1 in 45,057,474 for the jackpot since 2015.

FAQ
Has any UK Lotto combination been drawn twice?
No. In 3,240 draws since 19 November 1994, no set of six main numbers has come up twice. Fetix checks this on the full archive, including both New Lotto rounds since June 2026.
What is the closest two draws have come?
Five numbers out of six. It has happened 55 times, for example 15 December 2004 and 29 June 2024, which share 7, 11, 19, 25 and 31.
Can I check an old line I used to play?
Yes. Enter it in My numbers and choose the full history: you see every night since 1994 where it would have won, even if you stopped playing it years ago.
Does the Bonus ball count as a repeat?
No. The comparison is on the six main numbers only; the Bonus ball is a seventh ball that only matters for the Match 5 + Bonus prize.
How up to date is this?
The figures cover the 3,240 draws in the Fetix archive on 25 September 2026. New draws are added automatically after each Wednesday and Saturday draw.
