Overview
An "overdue" Set for Life number is one that has not been drawn for many consecutive draws. With 5 numbers from 1–47 per draw, each number appears on average about once every 9–10 draws. Gaps of 20–30 draws without a number are common.
This label is descriptive only. It does not mean the number is more likely next time.
Important
The gambler's fallacy says a number is "due" after a long absence. That is false. The machine has no memory.

Expected gaps
With 47 main numbers and 5 drawn per game, each number is drawn roughly once every 9–10 draws on average. Gaps of 25–35 draws without a number are normal. Gaps of 50+ are rarer but possible—and they do not increase the number's chance next time.
Set for Life has only 2 draws per week, so "30 draws" is about 15 weeks (3–4 months). Long absences feel more noticeable with fewer draws.
Life Ball overdue
The Life Ball (1–10) is drawn from a separate pool. Each ball appears on average about once every 10 draws. Gaps of 20–25 draws are not unusual and have no predictive value.

FAQ
Is an overdue Set for Life number more likely to be drawn?
No. Each draw is independent. Overdue numbers have the same probability as any other.
Why do people track overdue numbers?
For interest and habit, not because it changes odds. Some players enjoy following the data.
Where can I see how long each number has been absent?
Lottery Stats publishes last-drawn dates and overdue rankings for Set for Life main numbers and Life Ball.
Do overdue numbers eventually appear?
Over the long run, frequencies tend to even out, but there is no schedule. A number can stay absent for many draws without affecting future draws.
